hope everybody enjoyed their thanksgiving.

this thursday we will be having a sierra nevada event.  we are going to be having some real good beers from them so this should be a great event.  all beers will be on tap at 3.  http://www.sierranevada.com/

-northern hemisphere (fresh hop with american hops)

-celebration (fresh hop holiday release)

next thursday (12/8) we will be tapping 4 years of anchor christmas ale.  we started saving anchor xmas kegs back in 2008 when we first opened.  so next week we will  have a vertical lineup of 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011 anchor christmas.  http://anchorbrewing.com/beers/christmasale.htm.

not too sure what we will be tapping on thursday 8/15, but keep an eye on the website.  our holiday party will be on 12/23, for this event we tap some great kegs.  we will be closed on christmas eve, christmas day, new years eve and new years day.  coming up in the new year be ready for a dogfish head event, firestone walker event, a sour ale event and a dark beer night.

lastly, just wanted to let eveybody know that we got in 32oz copper mine growlers in.  growlers cost $5 and there is varying prices on what you want to fill them up with.

Thanksgiving week we have a couple things going on.

Wednesday, the 23rd, we will be tapping a cask of schneider aventinus eisbock.  we had a big mix up with cask taps on the day of the anniversary party so we didnt get to tap it, so we will be tapping it then. http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/schneider-aventinus-weizen-eisbock/10514/.

then the friday after thanksgiving we will be having a small founders event. http://www.foundersbrewing.com/.  so far it looks like we will be tapping

hope everyones having a good summer, and just wanted to let everybody know whats going at the bar over the next couple weeks

this tuesday the 23rd, we will be having a fermentation meet up.  if you make: beer, wine, cider, mead, other fermented drinks, cheese, bread, cured meat, pickled fruits and veggies, saurkraut or anything else fermented you're welcome to join.  starting at 8pm, bring whatever you make, share it and talk about it with others.  should be a good time.

thursday the 25th, we will be tapping a keg new holland dragons milk (its a oak barrel strong ale) and ommegang aphrodite (belgian beer with wild yeast, raspberries and pears).  they are both good beers.

kane brewing in ocean is the newest brewery to open up in nj.  thursday september 1st, we will be having an event with them at 8pm, michael kane from the brewery will be present and we will have some snacks too.  check out their website http://kanebrewing.blogspot.com/. on tap will be:

we will be closed sunday, september 4th.

september 15th we will be having a defiant event.  as we get closer ill have more details for you guys.
